Before getting into photography myself... my time was spent in front of the camera, modeling for photographer friends.
Then my photography journey began... but only as a hobby.
That same year my now husband and I started dating...
He has always been my biggest supporter.
During the pandemic... I decided to dedicate myself to my photography and focused on practicing my skills, building my portfolio and developing the Courtney Taylor Photography brand.
And then we got engaged... shortly before moving our entire life to Northern Virginia.
And thus began... the long process of re-establishing my business in a new state.
Eventually, Leesburg began to feel like home... and became the new location for Courtney Taylor Photography.
Meanwhile... after a lot of back and forth we decided to elope!
And then the following summer.. we had a small wedding celebration with our closest family and friends giving us the best of both worlds.
We are still happily married... and building our dream life in Leesburg with our fur babies.
And now... Courtney Taylor Photography is a full-time endeavor offering intimate weddings and lifestyle photography for couple and families in Northern Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and DC.
